College of Arts & Sciences
The College of Arts and Sciences serves all the colleges in the institution to help students build the foundation of the specific program they wish to pursue. The college provides fundamental knowledge and understanding in the language, natural sciences, mathematics, social sciences and humanities necessary for success in their career. In particular, it provides for general education and supports of multidisciplinary programs.
The College of Arts and Sciences is dedicated to add value to the college with a sense of ownership; focus on quality learning by seeking continuous improvement; and synchronize with change. This holds true as a social contract with the ICC top management who continuously share rewards; encourage self-determination; promote personal growth; and implement social responsibility.
Department Objectives
- To assist student in developing his/her academic skills necessary for a specific career or for advance study.
- To develop certain attitudes that would help students acquire knowledge and skills both for self-fulfillment and in preparation for the roles they will subsequently play in a globally competitive society.
- To prepare students for a productive and rewarding professional life following the completion of the requirements of the specific program they wish to pursue.
- To educate students for leadership, spiritual growth, responsible citizenship, and services through a curriculum that develops the whole person.
Program Objectives
- To equip the students with knowledge and skills in the theory and practice of communicating English in various professions and contexts.
- To assist the students in appreciating the English language in the communication inside the organization and how they can make a meaningful contribution as a strategic partner in building.
- To provide complete understanding of the concepts, principles, theories, and philosophies in learning language and literature
