The ICC campus today stands as one of the most impressive in Iligan City and in Region X.

The founders of this venerable institution of learning, who are seasoned educators and administrators, conceived Iligan Capitol College to be a “School of Science and Virtue to the Greater Glory of God and Service to Country”. Living up to this mission, Iligan Capitol College has through the years provided the people of Iligan City and Region X with relevant, quality and affordable education. Through her portals, countless graduates have passed. These professionals now occupy responsible positions in the business world and in the government and are productive members of the community.

Responding to the need of the times, Iligan Capitol College redirected her course offerings and pioneered in the Midwifery and Maritime courses (now in her sister school, Lyceum of Iligan Foundation) in Region X. in keeping with Computer age, Iligan Capitol College opened the BS Computer Science and the BS Computer Engineering courses. The opening of these programs gave the youth in the locality and the environs opportunities for a highly technical education. In SY 2002, ICC reopened its Criminology Department to cater to police and professional security manpower needs of the region. The Business Administration Department offers newly renamed majors namely: Financial Management, Human Resource Development Management (HRDM) and Marketing Management.

Today, after almost five decades of service to the community, Iligan Capitol College prepares itself to face the challenges of a more complex and exacting era, where the world is made smaller by the “Global Community” concept. In response to this ICC has subjected herself to the accreditation process, so that presently her Education, Business and Computer Programs are Level II Accreditated. Undaunted by the unprecedented turn of events, Iligan Capitol College marches onward ever firm and resolute in its mission of providing quality, relevant and affordable education to the Filipino youth – for God and country.
