The immersion is one of the vital parts in any senior high school students’ program. This is where they are able to put into practice what they have learned inside the walls of Iligan Capitol College. This is also an avenue for them to get their much needed experience to what is in store after senior high school.
On the 14th of January 2019, the Basic Education Department of ICC deployed over 396 students in different companies and offices in Iligan City. They were given two weeks, an equivalent of 80 hours, as mandated by the Department of Education to finish their immersion program. Throughout this duration, they were visited by their monitoring teachers.
The said program was facilitated by the BED Guidance Counselor, Ms. Sittie Aquiza Dumarpa and was assisted by the two immersion teachers: Mr. Tilshane Yap and Mr. Jearold Apiag.
