In time for the opening of the SY 2018 – 2019, a total of 16 new classrooms were opened for use by the Basic Education students.
It may be recalled that early this year the school’s auditorium was renovated and converted into new classrooms to accommodate influx of students following the end of the two-year drought in enrollment for the first year college.
The Office of the Physical Plant Facilities made sure that the classrooms were available by June this year and this eventually solved the shortage of classrooms for college students last year. ICC surprisingly posted a high record of enrollment at the Basic Education Department which necessitated the conversion of the school auditorium into classrooms.
The school spent more than 9 million pesos for the renovation, excluding the chairs, tables and electric fans which were installed in each classroom.
